Which was first: the Chicken or the Egg?

With Easter right around the corner now is a good time to start thinking about how you'll want to set your Easter table.  There are loads of options out there depending on your taste, with modern touches, traditional approaches, and items for the whimsical at heart.  With the cold and dreariness of winter there is nothing more refreshing than to have colour on the table in time for Easter.  It's all about rebirth and new beginnings as well as to welcome in the Spring, so why not go with fun pastels or even bold/bright colours to enhance your Easter spread.  For example, if you want a more subtle approach with a neutral colour palate, use texture in place of rich colours.  If you're drawn to one/two colour palates, use pattern to create fullness on your table.  If you have a passion for colour why not go all out and dress your table to the nines.

The basic colour idea has been represented in the items that I selected and put together for you, but you will notice that I have also incorporated other colours into the fold, whether it is a yellowy-green or a reddy-pink you can easily enhance your Easter colour scheme by putting together an eclectic mix of colours.  Don't be afraid to mix and match.  There are no rules to the Easter table, just so long as your family is all together and celebrating happily!
